Rosetta Stone: Students are progressing through the Rosetta Stone Spanish Curriculum. Schools throughout the US are using this curriculum for language learning, we are excited to provide this opportunity to our students. For additional information about this language immersion curriculum click here: Rosetta Stone.

Seventh and Eight Grade: Students are beginning lessons in HTML. The culminating activity of the lessons will be a webpage created in conjunction with their study of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Fifth and Sixth Grade: Students are continuing work on their Ancient Egypt Webquest that will culminate in a Power Point presentation.

Third and Fourth Grade: Students are beginning word processing lessons.

First and Second Grade: The first and second graders are learning and practicing proper keyboarding technique.

Kindergarten: The kinders have successfully mastered logging on to Rosetta Stone and Learning.com and navigating both of these online learning programs. They are now learning the keyboard and practicing typing.

Please support proper keyboarding practices at home. Using the home row keys and correct finger positions helps students become proficient at keyboarding while developing speed. Maintaining good posture is essential to using computers without damaging neck, back and shoulders.
